A chill is in the air, so it's time for the best of Halloween: decorations and treats! Whether you're throwing a Halloween party or want to give trick-or-treaters a unique experience, Hebron 121 Station encourage residents to stretch their imaginations with these apartment trends for Halloween!

Delicious Pumpkin Treats & More

Halloween Pumpkin Bars

To make these adorable holiday pumpkin bars, you simply need to blend all of your ingredients in a bowl and bake for 25-30 minutes at 350°. Let cool before spreading icing and cut.

Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats

Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats are easy to make and easy to eat! Whether you want to bundle them up to give them to trick-or-treaters. To make these delicious treats, melt butter in a pan and add pumpkin puree. Once thoroughly warmed and stirred, add marshmallows and stir until they are melted. Take off the heat and add the rest of your ingredients: vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Let it cool for 20 minutes before stirring in the rice cereal. Spread it into a nonstick baking pan and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour. No baking is needed!

Dripping Candles

Try making these melting candle figures for a spooky look either inside your apartment or out! First, you will need PVC pipes. For the full look, choose 1 1/2-inch, 2-inch, and 3-inch. You can cut them to whatever length you desire! Spray paint your PVC pipes white on a covered surface and use hot glue (in a hot glue gun) to create the gripping wax effect from the top of the pipe. Use a battery-powered tea light and sponge to create the flame on top, and viola! You have dripping candles.
